Terence V. Steele
Terence V. Steele, Jr. was born in Miami, Florida on
Homestead Air Force Base. His father served in the air force
and his mother (Patricia Smiley-Harmon) was a local athlete.
He studied journalism at the University of Georgia, where
he also obtained a minor in drama. He found his passion for
drama at UGA performing with the Black Theatrical
Ensemble while he was there. Steele also attended the
University of North Carolina at Greensboro for graduate
school and studied film production. He produced 2 more short
films there and acted in 3 other shorts.
In 2009 he worked with filmmaker Kewin Muhammad of Prime Factor Films, Inc in Atlanta, Georgia. Steele served as a producer on 2 films with Prime Factor: The List and Checkmate. He has also produced 2 feature films of his own: Atlanta To New York and The Spirit of '69: The Legacy of Alpha Phi Alpha at the University of Georgia.
Trionna Moore
Trionna Moore is an Americana actress, born in San Jose
California. By the time Trionna reached high school, she was
well off exercising her skills in the drama club, in which she
made the decision to pursue a professional career in
acting. In 2012 Trionna moved to Atlanta Georgia, where
she was cast in multiple theatre productions. After much
success, she began to transition from the stage to television
and film where she eventually booked her first lead in a
feature film. Taking much pride in her craft Trionna dived in
deeper taking Master acting training linking with industry greats
such as Emmy award winning Actor Greg Alan Williams. Although Trionna has a passion for the arts, she has a huge heart for humanity and giving back to the community. As Trionna taps in role after role she is also gearing up to launch "Moore Life" a non-profit organization for Domestic Violence Survivors. This is something very dear to her heart as she wants to become the change she wants to see, in changing the world for the better encouraging people to Live More, Love More and Be More.
Gabriel Fortson
Gabriel Fortson serves as an associate producer and interviewer on the project. He is a photographer with a passion for film and black Greek life. Fortson also
wrote and helped produce the documentary The Spirit
of '69: The Legacy of Alpha Phi Alpha at the University
of Georgia.
Brian Michael
A photographer by trade, Michael has methodically been
able to master photography and cinematography through
his over 10 years experience in the industry. He has been
passionate about photography and cinema since his
days growing up in Boston, Massachusetts.
He spent years perfecting his craft as a photographer in
Boston before making the transition into becoming a
filmmaker. Michael studied film production at the Art Institute
of Atlanta, where he produced and directed several short films
and commercials. Michael has been the Director of Photography on feature films The List, Checkmate, Atlanta to New York, and The Spirit of '69. He has also performed as an actor in several films as well.
Mark Anthony Thomas
Mark Anthony Thomas will serve as a producer and consultant for "Onward and Upward". He's a journalist from Decatur, Georgia. For more than 15 years, he has produced creative works and provided successful management and entrepreneurial leadership for the publishing, corporate, and public sectors.
